02 / Why the name staysGhetto is not a costume. It is the corner where the fits get tested, the block that decides what is worth wearing, and a name nobody handed us. We do not wear it as a label. We wear it as a badge of honor.
We started printing because nothing on the rail looked like the people around us. Every piece is drawn, screened and packed in-house, in runs small enough that you will not meet yourself on the tram. The cuts are boxy on purpose. The cotton is heavy on purpose.
